Cosmetic Recontouring
- a reshaping procedure that can repair chipped
or worn teeth due to accidents or habitual grinding.
Crown Restorations
- a restoration that covers or caps a tooth to
improve its appearance and restore its function. |
 |
Crowns, or caps for
teeth, look and function just like natural teeth. Dr. Pham may
recommend a crown if your tooth has enough decay that it cannot hold a
filling, or if your tooth is cracked or broken and in danger of
cracking down into the root if left unattended. A crown covers your
tooth completely. It fits snugly at the gum and protects what remains
of the natural tooth.
Dr. Pham may
recommend a bridge be utilized to replace one or more teeth. These
restorations are cemented onto the teeth and are referred to as
"fixed" dentistry as opposed to a restoration of missing teeth with a
removable appliance or partial denture.
Cosmetic Resin Bonding
- a procedure that can repair fractured teeth, or change the color of
stained teeth. |

Implantology
- A revolutionary new treatment for missing teeth!
With
implants, patients who have lost one tooth or any number of teeth due to
periodontal disease or injury can once again enjoy all the health, comfort
and aesthetic benefits associated with natural teeth. Our office utilizes
osseointegrated implants, the most widely accepted system of dental
implants used today. The term "osseointegrated" means that the implant
actually bonds with the bone, making the implant an integral part of the
body.
Diagnodent
- Our practice uses new technology
that detects hidden decay where it can be eliminated in its early stages.
The new Diagnodent aids in diagnosing hidden fissure caries more
accurately and confidently. Most caries (cavities) occur in the complex
anatomy of the biting surfaces, making diagnosis with traditional methods
difficult, because the outer tooth surface often appears to be intact. The
Diagnodent is a new high-tech laser system. It utilizes laser light of a
defined wavelength to help detect and quantify demineralized tooth
substances (decay) without x-ray exposure. It is our goal to help you
maintain or improve your oral health. The dental care that our patients
and their families receive in our office always includes state of the art
equipment.
Intra-Oral Camera
-Our office uses
small digital cameras called intra-oral cameras, that easily and
comfortably fit into the patient’s mouth so that your dental professional
can take photos of your teeth. These photos can be used in many ways,
including patient education, submission to your insurance company to
emphasize need of care and to send to other specialists. Our patients are
able to be very involved in their own dental health care by being able to
see the exact condition of their mouth.
Other Technologies Include:
*Computerized simulation:
See how your smile might look before any treatment is performed. You may
ask your dentist for a complimentary smile analysis.
*Virtual reality glasses and CD’s:
Watch a movie or listen to music and relax while
your treatment is being performed.
*Internet access:
So that our patients can stay in touch with
important clients, family and friends . . . and more . . .
